We have our election dates!

We are pleased to announce the dates for our union election with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). In this upcoming union election, the eligible participants are non-regular rank faculty teaching this semester in the Trinity School of Arts and Sciences, the Center for Documentary Studies, and the Graduate School.

The NLRB will send mail-in ballots to your home address on March 3rd and will count them at their offices in Winston-Salem on March 18th. To commit to vote yes, and to ensure that the ballot reaches you at your preferred address, we ask that you complete a Count On Me form today.

The campus community and many elected officials have called for neutrality on the part of the administration, and we trust the Duke administration will not interfere with our vote with any form of intimidation, unjust pressure, undue delay or disruptions to students.

Regular-rank, non-tenure track faculty are continuing to build support for a union too. If you have not already joined the effort, the first step you can take is filling out this union authorization card.
